I had the opportunity to attend Great Escape’s Fright Fest twice this year and I really enjoyed myself. Here are the photos that were snapped on my travels. The spooky stuff was on full display and I think they did a good job setting the mood: My son Chase wanted a photo of him in the fog. I think he makes a pretty scary ghoul: My daughter claims that I “did her dirty” in this photo, but I can help […]
Some photo snapped during one of my Lake George outings in the Summer of 2023. Lady and I love it up there and it was the first time that we were able to get the dogs into the water. I also grabbed a little video of the Mini HaHa moving across the lake.
I have to be honest, I was expecting a little more from The Altamont Fair this year. I was hoping for some decent photo opportunities but didn’t really find them. That being said, however, I love a good fountain, and try and notice one anywhere I go and the fair grounds contained a single, solitary fountain near its entrance.
Aside from lady claiming I couldn’t take a proper selfie, my hike on the trail at Moreau State lake was rather pleasant. We had the dogs and weren’t fully prepared for the trail so unfortunately we didn’t make it to the top. However, that didn’t stop us from having a great time and snapping a few photos.
Some photos from my Summer 2023 hike around Burden Falls in Troy, NY.
The collection of videos I took during my summer 2023 hike through the Kaaterskill Wilds.
Rensselaerville Falls, within the Huyck Preserve is the first waterfall I decided to visit in my 2023 summer excursions. The falls are beautiful and the surrounding trails relaxing.
Had a chance to attend the Albany Lego convention this past spring. Some of the creations were truly spectacular, but the artist Paul Hetherington had some amazing creations. I was particularly fond of his Lego Batman pieces.
A couple of snaps and a photosphere from a visit to the ocean, May 2023. Lady and I swang by after being in Boston for the Foo Fighter’s Boston Calling performance.
Storm King Art Center is a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley. It is quite possibly the largest sculpture collection in the United States and to say it’s impressive would be an understatement. The exhibits are interesting and the grounds are beautiful. Unfortunately I was dealing with a fair amount of back pain during my initial visit so I was unable to cover nearly the ground I was hoping to. What I was able to see I […]
